Attendees rarely know if an unvetted host has a history of cancelled sessions, aggressive behavior, or deceptive listings across other platforms. Conversely, hosts have no reliable way to verify if an incoming group consists of legitimate community members or bad-faith actors operating burner profiles.
Offloading safety moderation to unpaid volunteer co-hosts or post-event comment sections creates a classic moral hazard. The platform collects transaction fees upfront, while the physical risks are borne entirely by the people in the room.

Second, transactional escrow and collateral staking. For paid meetups or events requiring equipment reserves, ticket funds do not route directly to the host's personal bank account upon purchase. They enter a universe-level escrow contract. Furthermore, for high-capacity or higher-risk gatherings, hosts stake a small WEVAR collateral deposit into the escrow pool.
Third, time-bounded dispute windows and cryptographic check-in. Upon arrival at a venue, attendees check in via localized QR or Bluetooth proximity confirmation, recording their presence on the Event ledger. This check-in opens a 24-hour dispute window. If an attendee flags a critical safety issue or material breach of event parameters during or immediately following the event, the escrow lock remains active, freezing ticket payouts and triggering an automated review by Mia.
Fourth, identity-isolated communication. Event group chats operate within WEVONE's encrypted messaging layer. Hosts and attendees communicate without exchanging personal phone numbers or external social media handles, preventing post-event harassment or off-platform tracking.

Because the event takes place in the public domain after dark, the platform’s baseline safety protocol automatically escalates:

- Roster Verification: The ten attendees are required to hold verified Trust credentials. Unverified accounts cannot reserve spots for nighttime public gatherings.

Mia is not a chatbot handing out canned safety tips. She functions as WEVONE's underlying context and moderation engine, monitoring operational signals without compromising user privacy.
During event creation and execution, Mia analyzes structural anomalies:
- Venue Discrepancies: Flagging meetups proposed at non-existent physical addresses or private residences hosted by newly registered accounts.
- Host Velocity: Detecting sudden spikes in high-frequency event creation by unverified profiles.

What Software Cannot Solve: Honest Limitations

A host with a clean verification record can still exhibit poor judgment. A verified attendee can still cause a disruption.
